Parts and accessories that you'll need for your Chicago Pneumatic impact wrench

• Sockets. You'll need to replace missing, worn and damaged sockets that you need to complete projects. You may also need specialty sockets for projects which require you to remove special fasteners.
• Carbon motor brushes. Carbon motor brushes transfer electric current to the spinning armature in the motor. You'll need to replace carbon motor brushes when they wear down to ¼-inch in length.
• Trigger switch. The trigger switch starts and stops the impact wrench motor. Replace the trigger switch if it doesn't send current to the drive motor when you pull the trigger.
• Drive motor. The drive motor spins the socket drive to install or remove fasteners on the work piece. Replace the drive motor if it doesn't run when it gets electrical current.

Work area safety guidelines to follow when using your Chicago Pneumatic impact wrench

• Work in a well-lit area so you can clearly see the work piece and the location of the socket.
• Make sure that your work area is well-ventilated. Don't operate your impact wrench in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust.
• Keep children and bystanders away from the work area when operating the impact wrench. Distractions can cause you to lose control of the impact wrench.
• Wear work gloves to protect your hands and eye protection when using the impact wrench.
