This was a replacement part for my lawn tractor. It was easy to order, received it quickly, and it was easy to install. Just make sure you have a new cap nut when installing.

Designed to be universal fit, it isn't!
Grass chute cover for riding mower. Even with exact serial and model number given when ordering, this part does NOT fit. One part of hinge is thin and weak, and if it did fit, it is designed to break at that point. This one is not big enough to cover the entire hole into mowing deck, so u could still lose a foot. Do not buy this 'universal' 42 inch cover. It is not universal to all 42 inch decks, and it does not cover. Total fail.
