Reviews
Easy to install
Easy to install. The back screen is held together by the "spacer" screws. You may have to use pliers to unplug, pull out, the existing wires from the old element.

This install is in-depth, many pieces to remove for installation, you should view a disassembly procedure.

Fairly easy to install
I have a glass top range installed in a granite top island. The caulking around the stove was not stuck any longer so the stove could be lifted out easily. I took out two drawers below the stove to see how much extra slack the main wiring would give me to allow me to lift out the stove and flip it over without disconnecting the main power line. Make sure the breaker to the stove is shut off and have towels, oven mitts, or something soft to flip the stove upside down on to. I did this myself but it would be better to have someone help because the stove top is heavy. Once flipped over there are 6 screws to remove from the shield that exposes the elements. The element is held in place with one long retention clip that is easy to remove. Slide off two wires from the broken element and then put the new element in its place. Reattach the 2 wires and retention clip. The shield cover lined up easily for the 6 screws. Carefully flip the stove top over and turn on the breaker. It's fairly easy but be careful not to damage anything in the process!
