It fits
I have an older unit that is craftsman red. (The cover was dark green.) Alittle expensive in my mind but, it fits and it'll protect the gears, axle and skid plate. Instead of paying $ 700 plus fo a new unit. $35 probably bought me another 5 seasons with this unit.

Very Easy to Install
Only took 5 minutes. 4 screws off, 4 screws on. Just be sure to put the tab in the front into the slots. You'll know if it's wrong if there's a gap in the front.
