Good instructions and easy to install
I read the instructions before hand and removed the old and installed the new thermostat. I set the thermostat at 120 degrees and then checked the water temp after several hours. The temp was running a little hot at 130 but the next day it was settling back down to about 124. Back in business.

Installation was simple. take a photo before to ensure you get the wiring correct. Turin off power. change parts and set temp. Turn power back on. Easy peasy.

Exact OEM replacement part
This is an exact replacement thermostat for my Reliance 50 gal. water heater. After turning the electric breaker off, I had it installed within 10 minutes of opening the box. Very easy to do.
