Seems to be a great replacement so far. The previous one had broken after years of use. Remember this retainer is meant to hold the track from coming out, so you have to push the track into place and then reach into the back of the dishwasher and install this new clip.

Tried avoiding throwing the dishwasher out and purchase new. However, by the time I bought the rails and the stops, I'm 1/3 of the price of a new dishwasher. Bought the rails thinking they would come with the stops. At that point I'm in too deep to abandon the repair. Easy repair but the rail stops should just come with the rails. A little pricey too on repair parts.

A 10 cent part that cost $15. It could be worse though. Part easily installed. Upper rack stop, rear in kenmore dishwasher.

The part looked a little different than the original but it fit and does the job of stopping the track from coming out of the dishwasher. Only issue was that in the process of figuring out how to install the part I dropped the track and broke the part that keeps the wheels from coming out of the track in the front!! Even so, I think just having the back stop in place should keep the rack in place well enough.
