Special details: If the dryer timer advances in the timed dry cycle but not the automatic moisture sensing cycle, the problem could be the moisture sensing control board. If you replace the moisture sensing control board and the timer still won't advance in the moisture sensing cycle, replace timer WP3398194.

It was easy to install.
It was easy to install. I just placed the wires to the connections that corresponded to the old timer. However, the old timer did not have a connection corresponding to the one shown in about the 10 o'clock position in the image above. The dryer works, except on the Auto Dry II cycle. Don't know if that has something to do with the spare connection or whether the moisture sensor in the exhaust has wiggled loose. May yet have to call a service person.
