On a scale 1 to 10, 10 requiring a trained professional, I would call this a 4, maybe a 5. The best advice I can offer is pay attention to how the plastic parts come out of the freezer. DO NOT FORCE ANYTHING or you'll be buying more parts. Two screws hold the face in place. After removal, slide the face up to disengage the two tabs at the top. Then remove the 4 screws holding the bottom of the ice cabinet in place. It will then slide out revealing the ice maker. Disconnect the electrical connectors, remove the two screws holding the ice maker in place. Slide it up and you will be holding it in your hands. Just be sure to transfer any non supplied parts. Installation took maybe 45 minutes.

Poorly packed upon arrival just thrown in box

I am surprised the part made it to me without damage. It was sent in a cardboard box without any protective packaging to keep it from moving around during shipment . The prongs actually left holes in the cardboard on the inside. We installed it after having to get creative removing the screws in the original housing. It worked for five dumps of ice and now it is not working. We are trying to figure out what the next step is. The part was not exactly the same as the other but it did fit. The design was very similar but there was less metal. I am hoping we will get more ice production today. This design left more wires exposed. I don't know if that has something to do with it to stop working. I am still trouble shooting.
