Easy to install, but may require modification
The problem I was having is that the microwave would give an SE error after getting wet (after boiling potatoes or spaghetti). Replacing this panel fixed our microwave. It was easy to remove the panel, but you do need to swap the circuit board over from the old panel to the new one. Two issues came up: first, this unit required some modification in order to fit my microwave--there is a black plastic nub that had to be drilled down (using a 3/8" drill bit) before the circuit board would fit. Be careful to look at "the landscape" of both units to make sure they are the same before you try screwing on the circuit board. Second, it turns out that my microwave was dented (we got the microwave when we bought the house, so we don't know how this happened). I'm not sure how the original panel fit on, but the second panel required some maneuvering to get it to go in right. I used packing tape to try to seal up the top and edges hoping to prevent future humidity issues.
