Range Oven Control Overlay

I bought the overlay. I received the wrong part. I notified Sears Parts Direct. SPD sent a new overlay and a link to return the incorrect part. I received the correct part. I returned the incorrect part, and installed the new part.

Range Oven Control Board damaged in shipping.

In addition to the Range oven control overlay, I also ordered a new range control board. Unfortunately, the two parts were shipped separately. The overlay was damaged in shipping because the part was shipped in a bubble wrap envelope. No rigid packing material was used to protect the overlay from bending or impact. When received, the fragile plastic overlay was crimped in two places, and Sears Parts Direct has shipped a new part which should arrive tomorrow. I appreciate the response from chat with Keith at Sears Parts Direct to resolve this issue. The part looks to be well made. I just could not accept a damaged product. The damage could have been avoided by shipping the overlay in the same box with the Range oven control board.
