Great Value

This was the best value I could find on the web. The same product from other suppliers was almost 50% more which exceeded the cost of a new cooktop. Sears had it priced just right. It was worth a $50.00 premium to me to buy a new unit. After tax and shipping it was just shy of $60.00 cheaper than the entire unit. My only complaint is the communication from Sears. I received an email confirmation for the order but no additional followup (shipping status emails etc.). To check status you have to manually click the link in the confirmation emails. At one point the product said backordered with no indication when it would ship. This was frustrating, but then it showed up on my porch two days later.

Installation was pretty straight forward. Easy DIY job. Product could have been packaged better. Box arrived with one end completely open.

Right product. Well delivered. Easy install.

Perfectly packaged for a sheet of glass to arrive intact. Easy install (used an Allen wrench instead of a six point star). Ordered 12/11. First notification predicted delivery on 1/7. On 12/18, 12/26, and 1/2 was notified item was backordered. On 1/5 email said delivery on 1/7. And it was. Great results. Annoying in between.

Flat stove glass top

Came packaged well and intact. It is Exactly like the original one that I replaced. One person can do it but I don't recommend this as it takes two people, one on each end to fit it on in a balanced way. If not, if only one person then you would place it in but you'll be balancing it at the same time. Someone cracked their stove top doing this and I can see that easily happening. We put it in and tightened the brackets gently, it fit perfectly.
