Part was correct but I paid top dollar!

The online tech support was great and confirmed my problem diagnosis and my dryer is operating properly again. However, the Sears Part website said the part was discontinued but tech support found me one and shipped it. Actually, the part is still available on multiple websites under a different part number. If the tech had given me this part number and/or if I had asked for it, I could have bought the same part for less than what Sears charged me for it. So I guess they were indirectly charging me for the time we spent diagnosing my problem.

That it fits easily and well, it's the exact manufacturer part. Just be sure to have a pair of needle nosed pliers. As you will need them to remove the clips that hold the original part on.

Just what I needed.

My timer has progressively gotten worse to the point where none of the settings would dry clothes. So it was time for a new one. It was easy to install took about 20 minutes. This is the cheapest place I can find it. Now my clothes dry. Very happy with this product.
