This motor lead center pin was wrong configuration
Took 1/1/2 hours longer because of having to change the lead plug: cut and matched the wires according to colors; solder the splice wires; heat shrink covered the connections. The model no. and web sight said this was the right part. All else was correct. The compartment cover does not provide much room to reach over the top and insert plug-ins. On the next three questions I will answer as if everything was o.k. yet was lacking. Also could have saved $13 from another supplier after the fact.

It works!!
We were surprised at how relatively easy the fix was and it definitely saved us money doing it on our own. The only thing that was different from the original motor and the replacement was the length of wire to connect. It was just barely long enough, but so far so good.

Installation
Easy to install and I had to say more cuz Sears wanted me to say at least 50 letters so I had to add a bunch more letters. I think this should do it.

Condenser Fan Motor Assembly
Fairly easy to install but didn't fix the problem. Found out that the compresser was probably bad.

easy to install
It was easy to install, Remove the wall plug, the water line, the lower rear panel and it's right there next to the water inlet valve. Remove the motor plug, the fan blade with a screwdriver and pliers by just pushing it off the motor shaft. The next steps get a little harder. There are two screws that hold the motor to the bracket. You need a short stubby phillips screwdriver to get to them from the coil side. After that, remove the motor from the bracket. Remove the rubber cushions from the front and back of the old motor and install them on the new one. Thread the new plug through the bracket and reverse the steps to put back together. Most of my time (about 50 mins) was spent removing and reinstalling those two screws. If you go online and search: LG Refrigerator Condenser Fan Motor Replacement #4681JB1029D It's a great video that will walk you right through it.

once you figure it out it was easy
There were no instructions or videos on how to install. So it took a lot of time to figure it out. I did not want to pry or bend something and break it, then have to order more parts. Parts took forever to get here.
