BRUSHES FAILED AT 13 MONTHS
Not happy at all with this design. Bought my dishwasher new with a 1 year parts and labor warranty and a two year parts only manufacturers warranty. After normal use for thirteen months the pump motor failed. I removed the pump and found it was seized because the brushes had melted. Contacted Sears warranty department and they would not warranty the pump unless I paid for one of their technicians to diagnose and replace it. It does not state this in the warranty! So I was forced to pay the $170 out of pocket for a pump that will probably last twelve more months. My product loyalty is gone!
