This skid shoe (part number 174762X479) is for snowblowers.

Skid shoe 174762X479 attaches next to the auger housing and slides along the ground so the snowblower can move smoothly. It also elevates the auger housing so it clears the ground, protecting it from damage. Replace both skid shoes at the same time to prevent uneven wear.

Wear work gloves to protect your hands when installing this part.

Was easy to install and adjust. I should have ordered locking nuts with it as the original bolts were good but the nuts were rusted.
