Installer must cut length yourself
Stock tubing supplied. Installer must cut cut to length. Difficult to do for tubing that had totally failed.

Hedge Trimmer Fuel and Return Lines
The parts were fine and arrived quickly. The biggest problem I had was installing the lines into the fuel tank. The openings in the tank are smaller than the tubing. This is understandable; the tubing is designed to seal the tank openings and prevent leakage. But even by tapering the tubing, it was very difficult to insert the tubes far enough to get a grip on the tubes inside the tank through the filler opening. I was able to finally do it using long nose pliers, but it was frustrating. I do not think there is anything to do about it and still keep the design simple. That is just the way it is.

Shipping is fast with the correct parts
My return line and feed lines were brittle. I tried to remove them and they just crumpled into peaces. I ordered new lines from Sears Parts Direct. They came sooner than expected. There was enough replacement line for two sets. I highly recommend Sears Parts Direct James E Houston, TX

Installing fuel line
I have a Craftsman bush cutter and i installed the new fuel lines. My unit has to be taken apart to replace the lines (about 1 hour).

New fuel lines - a little tricky
My gas powered hedge trimmer hasn't been used in 7 or 8 years. Naturally it wouldn't start. When I touched the fuel lines (two semi-clear plastic lines) one of them broke off. Dang. Instead of going to local box store (our local Sears closed down last year) I went online and ordered it from Sears. Glad that I did since I didn't realize that the two lines (one gas and one return) were different sizes!! It took about an hour to replace them since I had to remove the handle and air filter housing. Then I had to "fish" the lines down into the fuel tank. Each step was easy, just unexpected. After assembling it again, the engine started once I remembered to press the fuel bulb a couple of times. I put it immediately to use and cut down some blocking bushes at the end of our driveway. Great service and fast service. Thanks Sears.
