Its great that this filter is available and fits just like the original one. I've added a prefilter bag to keep this filter clean and working more effectively.

Filter Retainer won't go on now

Filter was easy to change. But, once the new filter was installed, the filter retainer will not attach and screw on

Filter is too long. Gave the replacement part number which is on my wet/dry vac. Love my vacuum but can't find a filter for it.

The filter I ordered was supposed to be for the exact model I have (388-177750), based on the diagram online, however, upon receiving it I was sent a "generic" filter that did not fit.
