The switch did not fit because the stem that holds the knob was too long for use on my Whirlpool stove.

Hardest part was figuring out how to get acrylic faceplate cover off... once that was removed it was an easy and straightforward plug and play exchange.

It was easy to install

The part fit (although I had bought a small element control first, large element control has higher amp rating) and was surprising easy to install. Overall, I was impressed with the ease of access for the Fridgidaire range; kind of a higher end model with front controls. Just remember to turn off power at the breaker to be safe.
