Pretty easy install, except...
Was glad to find this ice maker, a lot of suppliers are out of stock. The ice maker is working great, my wife is happy, that is what counts. The only issue, as others have reported, is that there are no instructions included. Why??? I disassembled the old maker and replaced it with the new parts so it wasn't that hard. However, the wiring was different, including having to wire the On/Off switch. I took a guess and got it right but c'mon, include a simple illustration for instructions or something! The bin full arm was different too than my original, found some YouTube videos to help with that.

Took some time to understand
It was a replacement for the original ice maker, so with no installation instructions, it took a few youtube videos to figure out what it was meant to work. I don't believe the quality was as good as the original, feel like somebody was trying to save money on the replacement. Everything seems to be working fine after 1 week of use.

Didn't come w/Instructions
The ice maker was shipped with some assembly required. However, it did not come with instructions on how to do so. Luckily I kep the old ice maker around and was able to use the old one as a guide to ensure I assembled the new one correctly. If I did not keep the old part, I'm not sure I would have put it together correctly the first time. If the new part came with instructions, this would be a 5 star rating. Assembly itself was not difficult.

Icemaker replacement install with ease
I had to replace my icemaker on my Maytag fridge. Sears Parts Direct made finding and ordering the correct part very easy. Also at a lower price compared to competitors .
