Difficult to install on my mower
The belt was exactly right and worked well once installed. However, in contrast to all the videos on other mowers, my mower has the steering column through the middle off the drive belt. That required removing the battery, releasing the steering column, removing the old belt and installing the new one. Less than 2 hours, but clearly a design fault in the GS6000 series that was corrected in later models.

changing out the drive belt.
Unable to remove the old belt unless I cut it. From Craftman, the belt was installed with the steering shaft running through the center of the belt layout. The mower manual does not address the steering shaft. The shaft will have to be removed before I can replace the bad belt. If I would have known this , I would not have bought the mower and or would not try to replace belt.

Good value
I've replaced the drive belt before but this time I needed to also replace the pulleys as they were worn out. Honestly though, even though I've worked on this tractor before, I always find it to be time consuming and more difficult than it really should be. In order to remove the drive belt you must also remove the steering column. Convenience was certainly not part of the design for this tractor.
