The part came to me in a box There was a broken parts added to the box. There is no way it was broken while in shipment someone knew it was broken before putting it in the Box. Thanks, I got a defective part, yes I was able to install it

2nd replacement for same part
This is the 2nd flow sensor I have purchased for this Kenmore refrigerator. The first one cracked and caused a massive and destructive leak in March of 2019. The replacement (also from Sears Direct) was in place for 18 months before it cracked and once again leaked everywhere. Here's hoping I get more than 18 months out of this one AND that I am DONE with water damage!

Not the right part for my model.
This part cracked on my just over a little year old refrigerator. Of course, I was told it was out of warranty so I needed to pay to have it repaired or do it myself. Sears wanted $500 in labor and double the price of the part on their site to have a technician do the job. Its a 10 minute job and very easy. The problem since is that I have ordered two separate parts that I was told were model specific and should fit my refrigerator. Both parts took weeks to arrive and when they did, I discovered the plug at the end of the electrical harness is different and does not fit my model. I have made several calls/chat messages to try to get this rectified to no avail thus far. I have been without water/ice to my nearly new refrigerator for a month and half in the dead heat of summer with temps reaching as high as 109 degrees. Have been severely disappointed with the product and service from Sears.

Press to release makes it a simple installation.
Once shield is removed and was so easy to replace. Press in on line release and it came right off. Installed back on just that easy too. Working great.
