you have to have these to protect the spindle ends.
To protect the spindle. they need to be really warm to take them off. and to put back on. Without tearing them.

I have had this old mower for over 25 years. It's been through everything you can possibly put a riding mower through. Whenever something breaks or wears out I order what it needs and get it within 2 to 3 days. they are the exact part needed and we install it and back mowing again. I use this one for the bar ditch or sides of our road. Even parts of the field. We foamed the tires and this older modal is still better than any of the newer modals

Spindle Cap problem
I clip holding the wheel to the axel broke and had to be replaced. I couldn't get the old spindle cap on so I ordered a new one. It went on easily.
