It works
I managed to install this part in a Craftsman's chainsaw. I watched an online video on how to do it. The part works and near as I can tell. The chainsaw chain is getting lubricated.

Parts were correct
I took more apart than I had to -- to change chain oil pump just remove the clutch and brake it is behind the clutch and all comes out on the right side, once you know this the job is easy.
