Not easy to install!
I was surprised how quickly it came. This shipping is quite high and I got on YouTube to see how to exchange out the old hose for the new one. You'd think by now they'd make those parts a little easier to take off, especially since the hose is usually the first thing to go. All in all I'm happy to have my vacuum cleaner back in working order.

The first hose I ordered with the handle and connection part attached did not work, there was a prong missing (should have had 3 prongs, not just 2) on the end that attaches to vacuum and the on/off button did not work, I sent it back. The second hose that I ordered over the phone with a live person told me to call back and ask for a tech to walk me thru the connection for both ends. I explained to him that I am a nurse not a mechanic because this hose was without the end pieces. After it arrived and when I called for a technician to walk me through the process of attaching the hose to the end pieces, I was told that because there was no warranty on the vacuum they would not be able to assist me. I sent the hose back. I expect a full credit for both non-working parts.

Impossible to Install
When I ordered a replacement hose, I did not realize that it was just the hose, not the whole unit. Replacing just the hose required wiring expertise beyond a weekend fyi project. I wish the sales rep had explained thus to me before ordering. I returned the hose

Instructions included
Needed to replace the hose to our Kenmore Vacuum. Was concerned about how to install the new hose. I was assured over and over again that there were great instructions included with the new hose. When the new hose arrived, there were no instructions. NONE.

Remove and replace vacuum hose
The video showing how to remove the handle housing and canister connector in order to get to the damaged hose was instrumental in my purchasing the part. Otherwise I would have damaged the plastic parts trying to remove the hose. The new hose fitment was good. Although the wiring position was altered. As long as the color of the wires were matched up i.e. blue to blue, yellow to yellow, etc., the assembled hose and terminal parts worked as expected.
