Tractor Bolt (Lug Nut)
I was sent the wrong part. I gave the yard tractor number and asked for the Bolts that attach the rear tires (manual does not show a part number for them) How do I return the FLANGE BRGS and get the correct order item?

Very soft metal. Not great.
These are made of very soft metal. And you can fill the axle with grease and it won't spread between the flange and the axle. As a result, the flange begins to wear down. As it wears the axle grinds it down until you get wobbly wheels and the flange needs to be replaced. I am going to try a spray lube of some kind in order to try to mitigate this problem. Wish me luck.

Replacing the wheel bearing on my lawn tractor
I should have seen the tell-tale signs by the tire wear that the wheel bearing was wearing. It is very important to keep adding grease to the fittings that are on the hub assembly. I did need to improvise a means to remove the old wheel bearing, as it is a press fit into the rim hub. I used a 13/16" diameter extended socket and a sledge hammer to drive out the old bearing. No damage to the rim assembly occurred. The new wheel bearing installed by tapping it in with a wood block and a regular hammer. Normally this process would use a shop bench press, which I don't have. I would have liked to have gotten a sheet of instructions with the part, which it did not have. Overall, it was a simple fix that I should have done years ago. Now it runs like new again.
