Reviews
Charge that Battery
Received the correct part ahead of expected delivery time. YouTube videos provided excellent views regarding old part testing, removal and installation of the new alternator. Did find the removal of the Flywheel from the crankshaft a challenge, but with the leverage the bolt did break loose. The final removal of the Flywheel does require a pulley remover. Once down to the old alternator, easy to remove and replace, with re-assembly also easy to do. Again, YouTube video provided a key, with 100ft lbs of torque on the crankshaft bolt. Recommend taking the time to thoroughly clean all parts prior to re-assembly. In my case, once double checking all parts were properly back on, the Lawn Tractor started right up, and testing confirmed the battery was being charged.

Finally got it ordered after the person understood that I did not want a starter motor. I also ordered the fly wheel puller but that order was canceled and had to reorder it and am still waiting for it to arrive before I can install this part.

Easy to install
The most difficult thing I had was getting the flu wheel off. But installing the new alternator was pretty easy.

Unknown at this time because I am waiting on other parts. I have installed the part but need other parts to see if it will work. I got it in a good time.

Moderately easy to install.
The challenge of this installation process is removal of the engine's flywheel. I recommend purchasing the tool for pulling the flywheel (I fabricated one). Once the flywheel puller was made, changing the alternator took about 20 minutes.
