I would have given 5 stars, but the item was on back order, However, once the item was sent, I received it in a couple of days. I would give Sears Partsdirect return process 5 Stars. Damaged/Used Item
The item was not new. If the item was used, it should clearly be advertised as such. The cooktop was scratched in 3 places and had writing on the back. As far as form and fit, the replacement cooktop fits the range as expected.

Appeared to be used, no cover, no instructions
This item took several weeks to arrive and I was notified several times that there would be a delay in shipping. I was a little surprised that it arrived with no protective cover for the glass top and that no instructions were included. I wiped it down to remove smudges and polished it a little with a soft, clean cloth and it turned out fairly decent. After watching a video on Youtube, it was a simple install with removal and replacement of four screws, located at the front of the oven. I have to wonder if this was someone else's returned item.
