It went better than I expected!
The ice maker on my Samsung refrigerator stopped working due to a bad design/part. It was apparent that Samsung didn't do enough R & D. The whole ice making mechanism had to be replaced. It seems to be working fine!

It was worth it, resolved my ice maker problem
The kit arrived in great shape with all parts. The instructional sheet that came with it was helpful as was the video that the manufacturer provides. However, the video was lacking some key details regarding disassembly and re-assembly that I had to find in a different video on youtube. A steamer is a HUGE help in doing this right without deforming any parts.
