replacement for wrong part
The directions say just remove 2 screws to replace igniter but that is after you remove the bottom drawer and the bottom of the oven. There is actually no instructions sent with the part .online is the only way to get the instructions..

Easy to install , worked perfectly !
The item was delivered perfectly and protected. The item was easy to install in my Kenmore Elite oven. After a minute or two after installing and turning on the broiler, the igniter lit it up perfectly. Very happy with the igniter and hope that it lasts as long as it seems it will with it's sturdiness and quality. Just make sure you do not touch the part inside the silver protection, very delicate and will make the igniter useless if it breaks.

Fails every four years
It was somewhat awkward but it took me about 30 minutes. It is located in the back of the oven This part fails every 4 years. I don't know if that is common but I am not happy about it. It is an expensive part.
