Perfect fit

This part is an exact fit, it took 30 min to install. Anyone having issues with the nut, should use a dull cold chisel and small sledge, the top of the nut has recessed depressions to accommodate a chisel or punch, the slots on the outer rim are intended for a spanner wrench. A few strikes on opposite sides will free the nut, it's best to clean and lubricate the threads first. I'm very happy with the part I received.

The box looked like it was resealed. There was rust stains. There was a dent in it. And water inside the top ring. I returned it and ordered another one

To do this replacement, you will need a spanner nut wrench. If you don't have a spanner nut wrench, getting the spanner nut off is almost impossible. After watching a few videos about this replacement, it was fairly easy. I am very satisfied with my new washer spin basket from Sears Parts Direct. Thank you!

Tub was a perfect match

The tub was perfect replacement for my older machine BUT go ahead and order the spanned nut wrench and be patient with removing the old tub off the spindle. My was rusted and corroded on. Had to soak in WD40 and made a homemade device to keep upward pressure on the old tub until it finally broke free. Cleaned the outer tub and spindle and the new tub went in like a charm. The homemade device was simply a 2x4 cut the length of the inside lip of the old tub. In the center drilled a hole and installed a T-nut. Bought a 7'

Mostly good.

The wash basket was easy to install and the correct fit for my kenmore 90 series washer. However... the quality control needs to be better for such a costly item. My basket arrived with adequate porcelain coverage in the inside, but in the outside there were 3 places, approx 2' in diameter, where the porcelain was missed and it was bare metal. We went ahead and installed it because it was an item that was needed immediately, but it will sooner than later, rust in those spots and need to be replaced again. That is disappointing.

Washer inner basket exact fit

Replacing the inner washer basket.. Bought special Spanner wrench off a website Basket nut would not budge.. Used penetrating oil and then tried Nut Freeze spray from Auto parts store..Think 5 min spraying freeze spray did the trick.. New basket dropped in fine.. easy to reassemble.. Best Basket price found here..Thank You.. Maybe last another 25 years..
