Rivet pins do not fit flush in the bearing holes making it a little hard to press properly

Very happy with parts. High quality, kit included all needed to restore to original condition. Had to use manual riveting skills I haven't used in years, but worked out great

Absolute OEM parts
March 07, 2021

As my description states, these are OEM parts. Exact match to what was taken out. That is usually a good thing! In this case, this not a project for a novice. The kit comes with rivets to install the bearings. NOT pop rivets, rivets as used in construction and on some farm equipment. Unless you have experience using these fasteners and have some basic tools to do so, this repair will not end well. Next is the seal cups. After driving then in place with a hollow driver I had crushed them a bit. Obviously, at the factory they are in stalled with a press. Again , for the novice, this will just end with a damaged seal. I think the kit would be well served to come with bolts to install rhe bearings. The type similar to wheel studs which press tightly into the hole. Also maybe a note that the seals require a press to install. All this said, I am happy with the kit and the finished product!

Not Easy
July 04, 2019

Repair was difficult and time consuming to do. Requires patients. Took me over 2hrs just to take tiller apart to get to the bearings. Would not attempt this repair myself again.

Hard to install

No way to smash the ribbets without hitting bearing housing, and the seal housing was to small to fix over bearning housing resulting in distroying seal housing.
