Doesn't have a release button
This item is supposed to replace the water filter housing on model 106.58973701, but it's missing the release button and the connectors are positioned differently. Spent a lot of money on this and didn't use it.

Correct part and excellent service
This part was for a 24 year old Kenmore fridge. Part was exaqctly what was needed and delivered a day earlier than expected.

DOA: Damaged On Arrival
The filter manufacturer decided to change the locking tip so now the "new" filters won't lock into place on our old refrigerator. Their solution, replace the filter housing with a new one that will accept the new redesigned filters. Ordered a replacement housing and filter. Email update...backordered for unknown time. Finally the housing arrived but damaged, unusable. Filed a damage claim, still waiting.

Bad Quality
Where small water line enter from out side,connection on housing was missing. Had to use old housing connection. Can't return part now. Hope I don't have to order anything else from you.
