Not the right size

The Original foam filter is p/n 17888 Sears notes this has been 'replaced' by p/n 551002118 So, I purchased it thinking it would work. However - it is about 3/4" shorter in length; and is thinner. It is the SAME filter as the "Mult-Fit" VF2001. So, it is not a true replacement; and i am not actually pleased. But I took a chance... You can kinda make it work - but whatever. You can get the VF2001 cheaper in packs; and singles are available at your local Hardware store.
