Scotsman freestanding ice maker common repair parts

  • Transformer. The transformer converts 120 volt AC power to low-voltage DC power. The low voltage DC power is used to heat the cutting grid wires that cut the slab of ice into cubes.
  • Water inlet valve. The water valve fills the water reservoir during the ice-making process to replenish the water that freezes to form the slab of ice on the evaporator plate.
  • Switch assembly. The switch assembly houses the selection buttons on the control panel. The switch assembly is connected to the electronic control board through a wire harness.
  • Cleaning solution. Ice maker cleaning solution removes mineral deposits from the evaporator plate and water tubes. Use ice maker cleaning solution when you run the cleaning cycle on your ice maker.
