Soleus Air portable air conditioner common replacement parts

  • Remote. The remote device allows you to turn the air conditioner on and off or change settings from a remote location when the remote is within range of the air conditioner.
  • Air filter. The air filter traps dust, dirt and debris before it enters the air inlet of the portable air conditioner.
  • Electronic control board. The electronic control board controls the major electro-mechanical components in the air conditioner. The electronic control board receives input from temperature sensors to monitor the temperatures inside the room and at the evaporator. With this information, the electronic control board manages the on/off cycling of the compressor to cool the room to the set temperature. The electronic control board activates the compressor and fans when it senses that the room temperature exceeds the set temperature.
  • Thermistor. The thermistor is a temperature sensor in the portable air conditioner that sends information to the electronic control board.

Installing the exhaust hose of your Soleus Air portable air conditioner in a window

  • Place the exhaust hose bracket in the window sill and extend the bracket fully to cover the entire width of the window frame.
  • Fix the bracket in place by using the pin then lower the window onto the bracket.
  • Attach the exhaust hose in the housing on the back of the air conditioner cabinet.
  • Insert the window outlet on the other end of the exhaust hose. Attach the window outlet into the slot in the window bracket.
