Top replacement parts for Swisher gas walk-behind lawn mowers

  • Carburetor rebuild kit. The carburetor rebuild kit includes gaskets, seals, a hinge pin and other components to refurbish the carburetor.
  • Drive belt. The drive belt connects the engine pulley on the crankshaft to the pulley on the drive gear case. The gear case rotates the wheels to propel the mower.
  • Ignition coil. Located next to the flywheel, the ignition coil generates electric current to fire the spark plug when flywheel magnets spin past the ignition coil. The ignition coil sends the electric current to the spark plug at the proper time to ignite the fuel in the cylinder.
  • Starter rope. The starter rope is a heavy nylon cord that coils around the pulley of the recoil starter. The user pulls it to start the engine. The spring-loaded pulley on the recoil starter retracts the starter rope when the user releases it.
