Most common Haier Encore dryer parts that need replacing

1. Heating element. The heating element heats the air to dry the clothes in a Haier electric dryer. Replace the heating element if it's broken or it doesn't heat.
2. Door switch. When it’s working correctly, the dryer door switch shuts off the dryer when the door is open. Replace the door switch if the dryer runs with the door open.
3. Drum roller. The drum roller supports the dryer drum as it rotates during the drying cycle.
4. Haier dryer motor. The dryer motor spins the drum to tumble the clothes during drying. Replace the drive motor if it doesn't run.

What to do when your Haier dryer won't power up

If the dryer’s the digital display is dead, or if the drum light doesn't turn on when you open the door on a Haier dryer with a dial timer, check the house circuit breaker and reset it if it tripped. For a Haier gas dryer, test the outlet by plugging in a night light or small appliance. Have an electrician fix the outlet if it doesn't have power even though the house circuit breaker isn't tripped.
