Frigidaire portable air conditioner cleaning tips
Before cleaning, turn the portable air conditioner off and unplug the power cord.
Regularly clean the outer surfaces of the portable air conditioner with a damp cloth then dry the surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. For safety, never wash the air conditioner with water. Don't use petroleum products, alcohol or solvents to clean the air conditioner.
To keep your portable air conditioner running efficiently, clean the air filter weekly. Remove the air filter by pulling it upward. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and dirt from the air filter. When it's very dirty, immerse the filter in warm water then rinse it under tap water thoroughly. Let the filter air dry completely before reinstalling it in the air conditioner.
