4. Radiant surface element. The radiant surface element is mounted on the bottom of a ceramic glass cooktop and provides heat for that area of the cooktop. It's controlled by a surface element switch (also called a surface burner switch or infinite burner switch). The radiant surface element has a limit switch that shuts off the element to protect the ceramic glass cooktop from overheating. Replace the radiant surface element if it doesn't heat when it receives current from the surface element switch.
5. Spark module. The spark module receives signals from the burner switches. When a burner control knob is in the Lite position, the spark module provides voltage to the burner igniter electrodes and lights the surface gas burner. Replace the spark module if it doesn't send voltage to the igniter electrodes to light the burners.

How to fix your Electrolux gas cooktop when burners aren't heating properly

When all gas burner flames are weak on the cooktop, check the gas supply shut-off valve to make sure it’s fully open. If the shut-off valve is fully open and all burner flames are weak, you may need to have your gas supplier check the gas supply pressure. If gas supply pressure is okay, a failed pressure regulator on the cooktop may be restricting flow to the burners.
