Common Toshiba audio equipment replacement parts

  • Power control board. The power control board suppies electrical current to components in the equipment. If the equipment won't power up, you may need to replace the power control board.
  • Speakers. Speaker can wear out or get blown when playing back music. Replace speakers when they're damaged or blown.
  • Power switch. Equipment won't turn on then the power switch fails. Replace the power switch if it doesn't send power to the power control board when you turn on equipment.
  • Power cord. Replace the power cord if it's cut or damaged.

Troubleshooting problems with distorted sound during playback

Static or feedback during playback of audio tracks is annoying. Check the speakers' wiring connections and reconnect any loose speaker wires. Check for blown speakers that could be causing distortion. Check the playback equipment for damage and repair any playback components that are causing distortion.
