Maintenance tips for your Thermador charcoal grill

  • Scrape and brush debris off the cooking grates after you've finished cooking but while the grates are still hot.
  • After the grill cools completely, lightly coat the grates with cooking oil so food won't stick to the grates the next time you grill.
  • Empty the fire box and ash catcher of all charcoal and ash.
  • Wipe down the outside of the grill with a damp cloth.

General safety guidelines to follow when using your Thermador charcoal grill

  • Read and follow all safety and operational guidelines in the owner's manual for your grill.
  • Don't grill inside the garage or inside any indoor space.
  • Position the grill at least 10-feet away from your house, fences and hanging branches.
  • Make sure that your grill is positioned on flat ground with a stable base.
  • Don't use any starter fluid other than charcoal lighter to start the grill fire.
  • Keep children away from the grill while cooking.
