Common Sunbeam food processor replacement parts
As your food processor ages, parts will eventually wear out and need replacing.
- Cutting blade. The cutting blade can dull over time, so replace the blade if it isn't cutting and chopping food cleanly.
- Drive motor. Replace the drive motor if it isn't running at the right speed or if it whines loudly while running.
- Bowl. Replace the bowl if it cracks or breaks.
- Lid assembly. Replace the lid assembly if its catch doesn't engage the interlock switch or if the lid is cracked or damaged.
How to maintain your Sunbeam food processor
Cleaning and maintaining your food processer will keep it running smoothly for years. Unplug the food processor before you begin.
- Remove the lid, blade and bowl and clean them thoroughly after each use. To prevent scratching or clouding, don't use abrasive cleansers or scouring pads on the bowl or lid. You can wash these items in your dishwasher, but don't use the sanitize setting.
- Wipe the base clean after each use. Clean the base and power cord with a warm, sudsy cloth and dry with a soft cloth regularly.
- Check the power cord before each use. Replace the power cord if its insulation is cut or damaged, exposing bare wires.
- Regularly check blades and accessories for damage. Replace any damaged components.
