Vacuuming liquids using your Paramount wet/dry vacuum

  • Unplug the power cord to disconnect power from the shop vacuum.
  • Remove the paper cartridge filter then install the foam sleeve filter.
  • Plug in the power cord and turn on the shop vacuum.
  • Vacuum the liquids using the proper attachments.
  • A float valve stops suction action when the canister is full of water. Empty the canister when the float valve trips.
  • After use, empty the collection tank and dry the inside of the canister before storage.

Replacing a caster wheel on your Paramount wet/dry vacuum

  • Unplug the wet/dry vacuum power cord from the wall outlet. Wear work gloves to protect your hands during the repair.
  • Remove the motor assembly and empty the dust drum.
  • Turn the dust drum upside down on the floor.
  • Pull the existing caster wheel off the caster foot.
  • Push the new caster wheel onto the caster foot and lock the new caster wheel in place in the caster foot.
  • Turn the dust drum upright and reassemble the vacuum.
