Inadequately Packed for Shipping
These motors need to be packed more robustly for shipping. The first was damaged to the point of not being usable and was returned. The replacement was also badly damaged but I used it anyway. Otherwise, the motor works well as a replacement for Greenworks mower.

Slight Damage
The box the motor came had a hole in it and the motor had carbon brush material attached. I installed anyway and it seems to work ok. Needs a better shipping solution.

Arrived damaged, but was repairable
The motor arrived damaged, but I was able to fix it. One of the holders for one of the carbon brushes was bent and wouldn't allow the brush to make contact with the commutator. Otherwise, it was an exact replacement and worked just fine.

Damaged motor due to inferior packaging
The motor arrived damaged due to inferior packaging, resulting in a bent mounting flange and damaged brush boxes. I didn't want to deal with a return, so I bent the mounting flange back and repaired the brush boxes. Customer Service did issue me a return authorization in case I changed my mind and preferred to exchange the motor. That said, the motor appears to be a slightly updated version of the original.
