Replaced as Expected
The new bar was an exact fit and, after cleaning the mounting area, went on as it was supposed to. The challenge, of course, is always to adjust proper tension on the cutting chain.

Spiffy new bar
I never replaced a chain saw bar before but it was pretty easy. It did not look exactly like original or say "Craftsman" on it, but that's ok.
