Part Information
This wall control (part number 2C472-1) is for garage door openers.
Wall control 2C472-1 controls the motion of the door, as well as lighting and programming. It attaches to the garage wall beside the entry into the house. Wires connect it to the logic board on the motor unit.
Unplug the garage door opener before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Doesn't always work right.
The large button that activates the door does not always work properly. It appears the litte plastic tabs that push the button back out are too weak to push it back out after the button is pushed in. This causes the door opener to malfunction and the safety eyes do not work when the button stays in the "in" position. Not good. I have tried bending the tabs toward the front of the console and it seems to be working better, but I wonder for how long.
