Defective Filters
Ive been using these filter for YEARS however the last 2 I've purchased are defective. My first filter slowed down to a tickle. I purchased a new one, it worked for about a week before going back to a trickle. I have started buying bottled water because it is painfully slow.

Water taste terrible
I've had this filter on a subscription to be auto shipped every 6 months for quite some time. The last filter I received was awful. My water tasted so bad my dog didn't even want to drink it. It left an aftertaste for at least 10 minutes. I've never had that before. I ran it for a few weeks thinking it needed some time but it never got better. I ultimately had to replace with a much cheaper filter. My off brand has returned my water quality to clean, filtered, and no horrible aftertaste. I've cancelled my auto ship and will not be using this brand anymore. On the positive side…my off brand saves me a lot of money!
