Disconnect electrical power to the range and shut off the gas before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

This valve was a direct replacement for the failed one on my 30 year old Kenmore. It took about 10 minutes to replace. Have teflon tape an some pipe dope on hand.
