Part that arrived was the correct part. However, I would have appreciated having access to a manual. I read other comments that stated that installation required removal of a number of other components. That was correct, and I wish Sears/Kenmore could have provided those details.

Excellent service, but:

I would have loved to award a 5 Star review. The only complain I have is the fact that not a single piece of paper with assembly instructions was included with the part. Not even a packing slip. Or any mention of where to go online. I did managed to find a parts breakdown online but it leaves a lot to be desired. If instructions would have been included, it certainly would have saved a lot of time and guessing. The part sent fits perfectly. Also, the service was first class.

The replacement of this hose requires a near total disassembly of the vacuum cleaner head, so be prepared to spend some time doing it. But now it works good as new.
