This power head base plate (part number KC03RDDUZV06) is for vacuums.

Power head base plate KC03RDDUZV06 covers and protects the bottom surface of the vacuum's power head. It houses the components of the power head, including the motor and agitator brush.

Unplug the vacuum before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

It took about 35 minutes to dissembled the vacuum head and transfer the elements to the new base and reassemble. The trickiest part is poping the top off the base after removing the screws. There is a tab catch on each side that must be pried out slightly to release the top but you must be careful not to break these. Also the height adjustment assembly (white) is tricky to extract but if you break the old base in the process it won't matter. Lastly, if you don't consider yourself handy take it slow and take pictures. Good luck.
